An eCommerce site is a site that will be selling products online. There are several different variations of the eCommerce or "Shopping Cart" site, but all will include the following.

Database

Unless you are only planning to sell one or 2 products on your site, we recommend you use a proper database site to build your shopping cart. A database will take control of your products and build the relevant pages required to sell the item on your site with all the proper buy links.

If you only have one or 2 products, we can incorporate those products into a basic site.

Merchant Account

While most brick and mortar businesses will already have a merchant account, keep in mind an online merchant account is different and separate from you store account. We recommend that you set up a PayPal account to use as your online merchant account. The costs associated with PayPal are extremely reasonable and the coding is universally accepted with most ecommerce solutions.
